How do toys work.

Toys:How toys work

I have found a toy that you can push or you can pull. The toy can be a push or a pull toy. My toy is like superman but superman is very strong and he can save people but a toy can’t save anyone because you can only push the toy or you can pull the toy.

This toy could be from the shop or a McDonald's toy. It can be from anywhere around the world. The toy that is the best is the push toy because you can push it to the shop or you can push your toy all the way home.

Toys are good for people when they get lonely. You can push the toy with your hands if you get lonely and you want to play with your hands you can push a toy with your hands. The toy is cool because you can do tricks with them like if you have a little skateboard.

I like toys because you can put a toy on top of the paper and you can wrap them up and make a hole so it can be a paper toy. The toys I like are flying toys, pulling toys and pushing toys. Some of the toys I like are at my house but I hide them away because when I get lonely I can go and get some of my toys to play with.

I like toys that have wheels and cogs on them so they can move. I like toys because you can push or pull by using force on the toy.

Cogs.

Yesterday I have learnt that cogs work on bikes. In room 9 we made cogs out of cardboard. Mr Ramkolowan showed room 9 how to make cogs out of cardboard. It was cool making cogs out of cardboard. The cogs that we did was cool because we had to share our cogs with our classmates. I did half of our cog and Tamim

did the rest at the end.

When we finished our cogs Mr Ramkolowan took a picture of me and Lanu moving the cogs. The cogs were very cool when we made them. We had to spin the cog with our partner. The cog that I had was the biggest in our class.

Hi my name is Etai I am a year 6. I am in a awesome class room 9. This class is very cool because I have lot's of friends, My friends are Kaufana, Tane, Moko, Ifa. In room 9 my favourite teacher is Mr Rampkolown he is the only teacher that I like. He is not just a teacher he is the deputy principal in the school. In the school we always play touch every time on the court. This is the best school in the Glen Innes I like this school because this is the best school for me and my sisters. Glen Innes is the best school in the country.

All about me

Hi my name is Etai  I like Playing Rugby, sprinting and swimming. I am afraid of snake’s, bees, spider’s. I like doing painting, spelling and art. I like to enjoy things that are very funny such as jokes. I like jokes because they make you laugh. The things that I like to do is making something out of wood like a square.

I also like playing with my cousin’s kitten’s at his house. The kittens are black, white and grey that’s the colour of my cousin’s kittens. The kittens are very fast it can beat me in a race that was cool because I lost to a kitten at my cousin’s house.

My favourite food is chicken. I like chicken because it has meat in it. The chicken has to have meat in it because it has to move. I like to eat chicken because it is yummy to eat. Chicken is the only thing at home that I eat.

In my family I have three sisters and I got one brother. I like my third sister because she helps me with my homework. My third sister is nice to me because she helps my mum with the shopping. The first sister gives me a hiding if I spell the word that she doesn’t know how to spell she always makes me her slave every time.

The sunny beach.

At the Beach

It was a cold day at the beach. I went to the beach at 1.00 it was very cold in thee beach. We went to the beach my mum my dad and my sisters. I went to the beach it was cold so I waited until It was 4.00 I got out of the car and then I ran to go into the water , suddenly I stopped and I said,”
Hmm what is that grey sharp fin I ran back and I said,”
Dad there is a shark My dad said,”
Yes there is a shark just in the car till it goes too deep end.The shark went to the deep end and I quickly jumped out of the car and I said,”
Finally the shark went out to the deep side.

Learning to Swim

When I went to go and swim it was cold in the pool. The man that was coaching us his name was Hamish. Hamish taught us how to do backstroke on our back I can do backstroke but I don’t keep my arms straight.

The pool was nice and cold when I went under water. Hamish is cool because he let’s us lay a game with him in the water. He told us to not hop in the water because we have to wait for the other kids.  

The pool was like the sea but the sea can give you sunburn. The pool is the best because it doesn’t give you sunburn that’s why I like the pools.

Every time when I hop in the pool get’s cold but when you go under water it get’s hot. In the pool Hamish told us if someone is drowning what do you do you have to pull them back to shore.
