Introduction:
The Dental Association has found that of third of all dental injuries are
sports related. In most sport’s people have to wear a mouthguard so there teeth don’t come out. If your teeth comes out it is because you did not put the mouthguard in properly.

I think people people have to wear a mouthguard in sports. If people don’t wear mouthguards in rugby or league they won’t able to play on the field, if there is someone that has mouthguards on any other sports they will get kicked off the court or the field. Wearing a mouthguard is not just to protect the tongue and the jaw it is to protect your cheek’s too.

Mouthguards a very soft. When you buy the mouthguard from the shop or the chemist it will cost heaps of money. If you don’t have much money you can go to the club that you play with and you can get a mouthguard. When people get mouthguards they throw it around sometimes. If I had mouthguard in school I’ll hide it away so know one can steal it. People steal things off people because they might not have the money or they just do it for fun.

If the mouthguard is still hard that means you did not mount it. Mouthguards help your teeth because when you go to tackle them your mouthguard will vibrate and your head will vibrate too. If the mouthguard comes out and someone is trying to catch you pass the ball to someone else so you don’t get hit.

Conclusion:
Few athlete’s wear mouthguards so there teeth don’t come out. People don’t want their teeth to come out because they want to eat things that is very hard. If your teeth can’t fit in the mouthguard you can buy a new one that can fit your mouth.
